Mrs Kimbrel Dies In Noble County RED ROCK — Mrs Mable Olin Allen Klmbrel 88 mother of one of Noble County's first World War II victims died at 12:45 am Wednesday at her home Mrs Kimbrel has been In ill health several months She is the wife of Lee Kimbrel and the mother of Berlyn Kimbrel who was killed in action early in World War IL The family home is about 912 miles west and north of Red Rock Services were held Friday at 2 pm in the Parker Funeral Home in Perry with the Reverend George Campbell officiating Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery near Perry A large number of friends from this community attended the services The Perry Veterans of Foreign Wars post was named in honor of her son and another local war hero Other survivors- besides the husband are a daughter Mrs Vera Klopp Tonkawa and two grandchildren Mrs Kimbrel was born Nov 4 1888 in Lynn County, Mo. and was married on April 21 1909 in Perry to R L (Lee) Kimbrel She came to this county in 1898 and was a member of the Red Rock Christian Church Tonkawa Eastern Star Ponca City White Shrine VFW Auxiliary and was a Gold Star member of the American War Mothers - -
