Mrs. Betty Jo Hunt Alvord, 70, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2001, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home. Interment followed at Forest Park West Cemetery.
Preceding Mrs. Alvord in death were her parents, Pellum Monroe and Xinie Elizabeth Hunt and brothers, Jim and Leon Hunt.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Vaz, Deborah Middlebrook, Cris Genantonio, and Kelly Davis; two sons, Michael Alvord and Dennis Alvord; twelve grandchildren, Arielle and Tatiana Vaz, Kathryn and Stefanie Middlebrook, Anthony, Derek and Danielle Genantonio, Jessica and Megan Davis, April, Christina and Courtney Alvord, and two sisters, Juanita Colby and Jeanne Larrett
