Streeter, Margaret "nee" Reightely
Margaret Jane Reightley was born in Chilton, Wisconsin, April 23, 1854, and passed away at her home in Correctionville on February 7, 1933, aged 78 years, 9 months and 14 days. So suddenly did the end come to Mrs. Maggie Streeter at her home last week that it was difficult for her daughter, Mrs. Ray Crowl, to realize that the life of her mother had gone out into eternity.

Her early life was spent at Chilton, Wisconsin. She married Peter Ehrp of Chilton on August 21, 1875. To them five children were born: Mrs. Adah M. Lyons of Climbing Hill, W.H. Ehrp of Johnson, Minnesota, Mrs. Ray Crowl of Correctionville, Peter Ehrp who passed away about eleven years ago and George Ehrp of Holstein.

She and her husband came from Wisconsin in 1880 to a farm eleven miles north of Ida Grove where they lived three years. They then moved to the old home place two miles north of Holstein. Since she has lived in and near Correctionville for the last 35 years.

Her husband passed away eight years ago this same month. For the last number of years she has made her home with or near her daughter, Mrs. Ray Crowl, who was the only one with her when she passed away.

Survivors include the children mentioned above, 15 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter, one sister, Mrs. Mary Kramer of Chilton, Wisconsin, many other relatives, neighbors and friends. Services were held in the Evangelical Church of Correctionville on Friday, February 10 at 2 p.m. with burial made in the Holstein Cemetery. Wilson Service and Rev. J.S. Deedrick were in charge of final arrangements.
