Virginia Rose "Ninie" Corbin, 65, of Terre Haute passed away at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday May 27, 2009, in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born April 30, 1944, at West Terre Haute to Walter W. Corbin and C. Louise Chessir Corbin. Survivors include: a brother, Elmer "Louie" Corbin and his wife, Wilma of Cadiz, Ky.; two sisters, Shirley McBroom of Bradenton, Fla., and Patt Welsh of Kearneysville, W.Va.; two sisters-in-law, Pam Corbin of West Terre Haute and Nancy Corbin of Terre Haute; many nieces and nephews including, Matt and Amy Corbin of Dennison, Ill., Dale Corbin of West Terre Haute; and a special great-niece, Mallory Corbin of West Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers, Archie, Jim, Gene, John, and Bert Corbin. She enjoyed her birthdays and loved holidays, especially Christmas. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Dick Smith officiating. Visitation will be noon until service time Saturday. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park.
