This is my great great grandmother. She was my grandmother's grandmother. w/o Paul James Algerine COLSON, also buried here; d/o Salem SAPP & Mary Ann LEVY; mother of Mary Ann Missouri COLSON Cribbs who is buried in Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery beside her husband, my great grandfather, William E. Cribbs, a primitive Baptist Minister.

She is buried as Mary Ann Sapp Colson, wife of P. J. A. Colson.

Mary Ann and Paul James Algerine, had 11 children.

1. Valeria Victoria Colson, b. 06 Dec 1867; d. 1869.

2. Ella Lorane Colson, wife of K. W. Lewis, and was buried in section C1D of this cemetery as Ellie Colson Lewis beside her father, Paul James Algerine Colson.

3. Mary Ann Missouri Colson, my great grandmother. She was blind at the end of her life. My parents took me to her for her to hold me not long after I was born in 1962. She was married to William E. Cribbs, Sr., and had 6 children. They are both buried in the Little Flock Church Cemetery, in Collins, Tattnall Co., GA.

4. Algernon Columbus Colson, who died in Jessup, Wayne Co., GA. He was married to Nancy Thomas.

5. Salem Winfield Colson, who died in Vidalia, Toombs Co., GA. He was married to Susan Lula Brown, 27 Aug 1899 in Statesboro, Bulloch Co., GA, both buried in section B3 of this cemetery. Their children are listed on his memorial page.

6. Vianna Sylvania Colson, married to William H. "Willie" Cribbs, b. 1877; d. 1963, who double dated with my great grandmother, her sister. This is how Mary Ann Missouri met her future husband.

7. Nancy Adeline Colson, b. 31 Aug 1882; d. 13 Oct 1965, married to George W. Poppell, b. 28 Mar 1883; d. 11 Oct 1947. Burials unknown.

8. Manual Manning "Mannie" Milton Colson, married 18 Apr 1910 in Ohoopee, Toombs Co., GA to Carrie Shuman, b. 14 Nov 1890; d. 19 Aug 1984. I know there were 4 girls and at least one boy, Harley Colson.
One daughter Clara, married Walter Malone Whybrew, and they are buried in section A6 of this cemetery along with one of their sons, Larry Ervin Whybrew.

9. Wesley W. Colson, married to Sudie McKuhen.

10. R. D. Colson, b. 27 Mar 1889 and his twin

11. Lloyd L. Colson, married to Fannie. I don't know where they are buried, but suspect it might be Florida. I have a photo of them on their wedding day.
