"Funeral services for Mildred E. Luse, 84, of Centre Hall, who died Friday morning, will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Centre Hall, Monday at 10:30 a.m.
The Rev. Lloyd H. Seiler will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery, Centre Hall. Friends will be received at the David J. Jefferies Funeral Home, Centre Hall, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Luse was born March 31, 1898, in Gregg Township, a daughter of George and Ada Long Long. On June 1, 1919, she was married to Ralph F. Luse, who died July 26, 1971.
She is survived by one daughter, Inez Lauch of Pine Grove Mills; four sons, Richard E. and William H., both of Centre Hall, Dean F. (sic) of State College and Bruce D. of Pleasant Gap; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grand-children, and one sister, Mary Reuning of Shiremanstown.
She was a member of Pomona Grange, and Progress Grange and St. Luke Lutheran Church, both of Centre Hall, and the Centre Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, Centre Hall.
She was a 1915 graduate of Gregg Township High School and was one of the oldest members of the Gregg Township Alumni Association."
