Tecumseh resident Alisha Anderson, 30, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009 in Tecumseh.
She was born October 23, 1978 in Shawnee to Don & Leavetta (McCray) Reeves.
Born & raised in Shawnee, she graduated from Shawnee High School in 1997. Her cousin Eddie Markham introduced her to Nicholas Anderson, and on March 11, 1999 she and Nicholas were married in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They lived in the Shawnee/Tecumseh area. They moved to Texas for a short time and had lived in Tecumseh the past year. She was a licensed child care provider and full time wife & mother. She enjoyed her family, with her children being the focal point of her life. She enjoyed shopping and country music.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Douglas Megehee, D.O. McCray, Alma & Bob Stallings, and Jess Reeves.
Survivors include her husband: Nicholas Anderson of the home; Daughter: Destiny Anderson; 3 Sons: Memphis, Maddox, and Neo Anderson; Parents: Don & Leavetta "Sissy" Reeves of Stroud; 2 Sisters & 1 Brother-in-Law: Amy & Justin Watkins of Stroud, and Amber Lane of Okla. City; 1 Brother: Donald "D.J." Reeves of Stroud; Mother-in-Law: Linda Anderson of Okla. City; 2 Grandmothers: Inas McCray of Shawnee and Juanita Megehee of Tecumseh; Brother-in-Law & His Wife: Mike & Melissa Anderson of Shawnee; Sister-in-Law: Emily VanHoozer of Dallas; 5 Nieces: Lottie Anderson, Caitlynn VanHoozer, Corra VanHoozer, Brooklyn Lane, and Lailah Watkins; 4 Nephews: Daniel Anderson, Hunter Anderson, Rayden Watkins, and Jackson Lane; Special Cousin: Eddie Markham, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
