Our beloved mother and grandmother, Jennie Curtis Jewkes, 89, passed away July 24, 1990 in Orem, Utah.

Born September 15, 1900 in Orangeville, Utah to Charles Romine and Susan Cornelia Stilson Curtis.

Married G. Lee Jewkes October 29, 1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death August 17, 1940.

She served faithfully in the LDS Church all her life. Member DUP.

Survived by four sons and two daughters, Dale L. Jewkes, serving an LDS Mission in Singapore, India; M. Curtis Jewkes, West Jordan; Richard G. Jewkes, Price; S. Grant Jewkes, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Joseph (Jenalee) Butterfield, Riverton; Mrs. Vern (Anne) Lockhart, Huntington Beach, Calif.; 51 grandchildren; 124 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 1990, at the Riverton 2nd Ward, 12574 South 1700 West. Friends may call Friday evening, 6-8 p.m, at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, and Saturday, one hour prior at the church. Graveside services will be held in the Orangeville, Utah Cemetery at 4 p.m.
