Rev. Harold Teen Jones, age 82 of Cookeville, formerly of Spencer, passed away Saturday evening, May 23, 2020 at Standing Stone Health & Rehab in Monterey, TN. Rev. Jones was born June 15, 1937 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Thomas Lynnville & Lillie Leona Kirkpatrick Jones. He was a retired brick mason, but was better known for his 50 plus years of ministry. With his guitar and his late wife of 53 years, Alice Rosita Ochoa Jones, whom passed away January 28, 2009, he served as a minister and evangelized across the United States. Together, they served the Indian Reservations in Canada and did mission work in Mexico. Rev. Jones also pastored several churches in his career. In addition to his parents and his wife, he is also preceded in death by daughter Carolyn Rene Young; siblings James Lynnville Jones, Roger Dale Jones and Joanna Jones. Surviving family members include sons, Daughters, Sisters, Brothers. 27 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Seven great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Shockley Cemetery in Van Buren County. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Steve Warren will officiate and provide the music.My Dear Cousin .
