Luther S. Dingler, 88, of 4200 North Maple, North Little Rock, died Monday, November 30, 1987, in a North Little Rock hospital.
He was born December 15, 1898 in Glenwood, the son of William Thomas Dingler and Mary Taylor Dingler.
He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department and was a member of the Kirby Church of Christ. He was a resident of Kirby before moving to North Little Rock in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Blanche Robins Dingler of North Little Rock; three sons, Glenn L. Dingler and Eldon T. Dingler both of North Little Rock and Doyce M. Dingler of Arlington, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Dwight Patterson of Exeter, CA; three brothers, Elmer Dingler of DeQueen, Julius Dingler of Farmersville, CA, and Milburn Dingler of Union City, CA; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 1987, in the Kirby Church of Christ with Billy Golden and Harloe White officiating.
Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Glenwood.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers were: Ernie Dunlap, Cue Dunlap, Ellis Dunlap, J.C. Tolleson, Lindsey Golden, Bob White, Monroe Ingram, R.T. Henson and Dean Chambers.
