Mary B. Sunderbruch, 1456 1/2 W. 4th Street, a widow of the late August H. Sunderbruch, Sr., passed away at 4:30 o'clock this morning at Mercy hospital following a lingering illness. Mrs. Sunderburch was born Dec. 20, 1861, in Alsen, Schleswig, Germany. Her maiden name was Mary Fredericksen. She was married on Sept. 16, 1880, at Urbana, O. Her husband proceeded her in death on Oct. 30, 1920. She had been a resident of Davenport since 1881, and was a member of the Ladies of Elks, Royal Neighbors and Pocohontas societies.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. C. B. Bently of Aldeo, Ill., three sons, George L., and J. Fred of Davenport, and August H. Jr. of Le Claire; one sister, Mrs. H. Ghum of Pleasant Valley, and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the home of her son, J. Fred Sunderbruch, Jr., 240 Dixwell Court at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Friends will be welcome at the services at the home, but the services at Fairmount cemetery will be private.
