Dr Jacob Clark McCreary died at St. Anthony's Infirmary in Louisville, Monday morning, following an operation for gall stones, performed last Wednesday. Dr McCreary had a fine practice in Louisville and was regarded as a very fine physician. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs William (Beatrice) Gardner of Louisville and Mrs Buford (Bertha) Chisholm of Franklin. He was a native of Monroe County, where he is survived by one brother, Mr. Milton McCreary and one sister, Mrs. Mary E Palmore. For many years he practiced medicine at Cave City, and had a host of friends in Barren and adjoining counties. The funeral and internment was at Franklin yesterday afternoon.
