Waters of Montez Reservoir take life of a Neola boy
Jay Anderton drowns Sunday afternoon while swimming in
the Montez creek reservoir.

Jay anderton 16, son of Mr and Mrs Eldon Anderton of Neola met death here. The boy was out on the lake in a row boat with other companions and diving over board to swim ashore when he did not appear in a few moments, search was begun within a sort time. His body was discovered
about two feet from shore.

The Furneral was held in the Neola ward chapel Tuesday at 10 a m services were under direction of Bishop W K Dye of Neola.
Interment took place in the Cedarview Cemetery

Jay Anderton was born in Cedarview, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton in 1921
Atended the Cedarview School and the Roosevelt High School. during the summer he was employed in Salt Lake City, until a short time ago when he returned to Neola.
He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sister: Marella, Garth, Jack, Eldon and Calvin
