BUTLER--Mrs. Butler's rites will be Wednesday
Mrs. Olga Butler, 80, of 2423 18th Street, died Monday afternoon in Behlen Memorial Hospital after a week's illness.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Carl Weisser at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gass-Haney Funeral Chapel and at St. Paul Cemetery, Leigh. Her body will lie in state after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Butler lived in Iowa and Chicago before moving here six years ago.
Her early life was spent at Leigh, where she was born March 4, 1891 to Henry and Anna Tabke. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Leigh, and attended school in that community. She took nurse's training in Chicago.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Elia Olson of Columbus, nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter in childhood. per DON
