Lela Mabel (Staub) Alvord The Oregonian (Portland, OR) Saturday, May 17, 2003 Lela Mabel Alvord A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in Union Cemetery in Cedar Mill for Lela Mabel Alvord, who died May 11, 2003, at age 93. Lela Mabel Staub was born Nov. 2, 1909, in Portland. She was a homemaker who lived most of her life in the Portland area. In 1930, she married Frank A.; he died in 1997. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly J.; son, Stanley J.; sisters, Agnes Rutherford, Lucille Tervo, Rudy Heilinger and Eunice Kirchem; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her son Duane S. died in 2000. Remembrances to Our House of Portland. Arrangements by Oregon Cremation.
