Funeral services for Joseph E. Murphy, 66, of Crandall, who died Saturday afternoon at 1:25 o'clock in a New Orleans hospital, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Allan W. Dees Funeral Home in Kaufman.
Interment was in the Kaufman Cemetery.
The services were conducted by the Rev. Carl A. Tuttle.
Mr. Murphy had been associated with the First National Bank of Crandall for thirty years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Gibbs Murphy; one son, D.M. Murphy, Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin S. Huber and Mrs. James B. Cheek of Dallas, and Mrs. W.R. Hawn of Athens; one brother, W.B. Murphy of Crandall, and one sister, Mrs. T.A. Miller of Corsicana.
