Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Myrl Hallmark, age 87, of Alexander City, formerly of Remlap, Alabama will be Sunday, March 24, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Remlap Methodist Church.
Rev. R. S. Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 24, 2002, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Remlap Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hallmark died Friday. March 22, 2002. She was born October 04, 1914 in Jefferson County to John Marion and Octavia Atkinson Rochester.
She and her husband owned and operated Hallmark Country Store in Remlap.
Mrs. Hallmark is survived by her sister, Irene Greer of Birmingham; special niece and nephew, Glenda Beck Walls and Tifton Walls of Alexander City; three sisters-in-law; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to Remlap Cemetery Trust Fund at Compass Bank. Radney's Funeral Home of Alexander City is in charge of the arrangements.
