RICHARD J. SEE DIES AT MYERSTOWN

Richard J. See, one of the most prominent residents of this place and President of the Myerstown National Bank, died at 1 p.m. today at his residence at this place of diabetes, aged 75 years. He had been ailing for several months.
Deceased was a native of Womelsdorf, and when a boy was a clerk in the Fidler general store, at that place. Later he bought out Mr. Fidler, and conducted the business for several years. At about 25 years of age he moved to Lebanon County and engaged in farming for a number of years. He later moved to Myerstown, where he conducted a sale and exchange stable for 15 years. He was an organizer and one of the original Directors of the Myerstown National Bank and was the Vice President under the late A. H. Carmany. On the latter's death he was elected President, which position he held until his death.
There survive a widow, Mary Elizabeth (nee Leisse), a native of Berks County, and a granddaughter, Mrs. E. L. Mohn of Phila., who was the daughter of the late Mrs. George H. Horst, the only child of the See family.
