Mr. Brazzell is the son of the late James Packer Brazzell and the late Helen Sue Cheek Brazzell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: James Woodrow "Woody" Brazzell and Larry Joe Brazzell. Survivors include his twin brother, Ronnie Brazzell and his wife Becky of Winnfield; three nieces: Betsy Rebecca Brazzell Welch and husband Kirk; Jaime Claire Brazzell Fertsch and husband Dieter; and Carrie Suzanne Brazzell. He also leaves two great nieces: Suzanna Claire Welch, Saide Isabelle Fertsch; and one great nephew, Evan Scott Welch. He is also survived by two aunts: Myrtis Lee Cheek Clack of Hollyridge, La., and Agnes Aldy of Batesville, Ms. and one uncle, Herman Cheek of Pineville, La..
Dobber was a much-loved employee of the United States Postal Services in Winnfield for 25 years.
Mr. Brazzell was a member and Past Master of Eastern Star Lodge No. 151 F&AM in Winnfield, La., and Calvin Lodge No. 431 F&AM in Calvin, La.; member of Palestine Chapter No. 55. O.E.S. in Winnfield, La.; KCCH member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Monroe; and was Past District Deputy Grand Master of the 5th Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana. He was also a member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church and a Past President of the Winnfield Lions Club.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Winnfield with Reverends Kenneth Tarver and Kelly Tingle officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Masonic Burial Rites. Friends may visit with the family in the Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
