Mrs Augustine Succumbs at 76
Mrs.Cora Augustine, 76, 708 Dick Ave. died at 9:40 p.m. on Monday in Fort Hamilton Hospital, where she had been removed by the life squad following a heart attack in her home at noon Monday. She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on June 21, 1886, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Arledge. She was married to Fred Augustine on Sept, 5, 1903 in St. Paul Church, Hamilton. The devoted couple enjoyed 62 years of marriage. A loving wife and mother. Mrs Augustine dediciated her life in the welfare and happiness of her family. In later years, the additions of 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren were sources of great pride and pleasure to her. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ. Fond of gardening and flowers, Mrs. Augustine spent many happy hours pursing this pastime.

She leaves her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Clayton ( Lucille ) Willis, Mrs Virgil ( Elsie ) Barker, and one other, all of Hamilton; three sons, George Augustine, Carl Augustine, and Warren Augustine, all of Reseda Calif. three sons, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, three brothers, George Arledge, New Burlington, Ohio, Jesse Arledge and Hobart Arledge both of Hillsboro, Ohio, many other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Fred Augustine Jr. and Henry Augustine. Services will be held at 2 p.m.Thursday in the Klaus-Weigel Funeral Home, Elvin Ave and N. F. Street with Rev. Richard S. Sova pastor of St. Pauls United Church of Christ officating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends mall call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The family suggest if they so desire make contributions to St. Paul United Church Of Christ.
