Funeral services for Troy Jones, 45, of South Winnfield, were held at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon, June 1, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Cockerham officiating. Burial was in Allen Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones died at the Huey P. Long Hospital in Pineville Monday, May 30, after a short illness.
Surviving are his widow and five children, all of South Winnfield. They are four sons, Elton, Vernon, Donald, and LeVant; and one daughter, Mrs. Cassey Vines. Also surviving are four grandchildren.
