20, 1983, at the Broward General Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, following a brief illness. She was 89.
Hazel Putnam was born March 5, 1894, in Caro. She married Roy E. Cable in 1929. He predeceased her on October 26, 1962. A former resident of Saginaw, she was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ft. Lauderdale, a life member of Caro Kedron Chapter No. 33, O.E.S.; The Daughters of the Nile. Saginaw ; The City Women's Club & The Phoenix Club, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Survivors include two nephews, Robert Hitchcock of Merton, Wis., and George Hitchcock of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., one niece, Lenora Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two brother-in-laws, Harold Cable of Haper Woods, and Ralph Cable of Medway, Ohio; and two sister-in-laws, Mabel Wooley of Dayton, Ohio, and Hazel Mohler of Brandt, Ohio; also her dear cousins, Waldo & Elizabeth Roth of Golden Beach, Fla.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 23, 1983 from the Huston and Ransford Funeral Home. Rev. Alex Holmes officiated with burial in the Caro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
