John Hartman, 65, of 1638 Division Ave., died today at Greendale Health Center.
He was born in Kenosha on Aug. 24, 1919, a son of the late Peter and Marie Zitzer Hartman.
Mr. Hartman served in the US Army, in the European Theater of Operations, during WW II.
On Aug. 30, 1952, he and Diane Kringer were married at St. John United Church of Christ.
Mr. Hartman was a truck driver for Badger Freightways for 20 years, retiring in 1976.
He was a member of St. John UCC.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, all of Sheboygan; three grandchildren; three brothers, Peter Hartman of Sheboygan, David of Kent, Wash., and Fred, Anaheim CA; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Conrad and Mrs. Emily Brom, both of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thurs. at Nickel-Lippert Funeral Home, with Rev. Vernon Jaberg, pastor of St. John UCC, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at the time of service.
