Verna Mae Jordan is the daughter of William Alvin Jordan and Catherine Nancy Jordan (nee Kriebel).

Verna Mae Jordan Laberenze, 87, of Bradyview Manor in East Brady died at 2:52 p.m. Sunday at the manor after an illness.
Born in West Monterey, Clarion County, May 5, 1918, she was the daughter of William A. and Catherine Kriebel Jordan.
She had lived in Butler for several years in the early 1990s before moving to Parker.
Mrs. Laberenze was affiliated with the Park Hill Church of God at West Freedom.
In earlier years, she was a caregiver to many ill persons in the Western Pennsylvania area.
She is survived by a sister, Rosella Monroe of Parker; and a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Laberenze, who died in 1968; two sisters, Alma Fair and Glenna Foust; and four brothers: Lawrence, Arnold, Kenneth and Carl Jordan.
LABERENZE--Friends of Verna Mae Jordan Laberenze, who died Sunday, March 26, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lonny Wolford, pastor of the Park Hill Church of God, officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dutch Hill, Clarion County.

Note: Obituary states she was born May 5, 1918 and the Social Security Death Index states May 19, 1918.
