FERGUSON, Jay'Lyn - The sun rose on Jay'Lyn Raheem Ferguson on September 13, 1998, and set on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Such a bundle of joy, Jay'Lyn was an intelligent young man and a peacemaker, who loved to tell jokes (not all were funny, but we laughed anyway) and run in the park with his mom and aunt, while the other children played. Although he didn't know how to dance, that never stopped him from trying. In addition, Jay'Lyn liked wrestling and writing short stories. He was shy and a very picky eater, who ate like a bird - which earned him the nickname Jay Bird. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Irea and Jerry Jackson and Wallace Ferguson; grandparents: Darlene and Terry Smith; Rosie Ferguson; and Ollie and Barbara Montgomery; siblings I'Tasha Cochran and Amari Ferguson; special cousins: Tre'Vion Hogg (Tre), D'Mereay Hogg (Yae), Tarrie Sparks Jr., (TJ), Alonte' Manning (AJ), Kinnedy Braddock (NeeNe), Aaeron Walker, Jaydah Torrence, Jourdyn Moutry, Jasonnei Nash and Perrion McKnight as well as cousins Jessie (Linda) Ford Dawn Thompson, Robin Harmon, Angela Walker and April Walker; aunts and uncles Tamika Walker, Candice Walker, Kimberly Smith, Lisa Ferguson, Ericka McVole, Alexandria Montgomery; great aunts and uncles Ken (Bev) Walker, Robert Walker and Helen Stanback. Funeral Service begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 2211 S. Outer Drive in Buena Vista Township. Daniel Cecil will officiate, with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with a memorial tribute from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Paradise Funeral Chapel. Paradise Funeral Chapel 3100 S. Washington Ave. Saginaw, MI 48601 (989) 754-4826
