Esta Mae Davidson, 95, of Sidney, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at 2:22 a.m. at the Fair Haven Shelby County Home.
She was born on January 8, 1914, in Valley Creek, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Rosco and Jamaica (Cox) Loveday.
On May 21, 1932, she married Frank Andrew Davidson, who preceded her in death on December 24, 1963.
She is survived by eight children, Arthur Davidson and wife Jenett, Mrs. Shelby Nation, Mrs. Marvin (Mary) Stafford, William "Earl" Davidson and wife Sue all of Sidney, Don Davidson and wife Joyce of Hopkinsville, KY, Tom Davidson and wife Sharon of Sidney, Larry Davidson and wife Neda, and Danny Davidson and wife Kathy both of Troy, one brother, Bobby Loveday of Lafollett, TN, one sister, Juanita Davis of Michigan, 17 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawerence, Earl and Ancil Loveday, three sisters, Ruby Lehman, Pauline Loveday, and Patricia Sims, an infant son, Frank Davidson, two grandsons, Eric Davidson and Gerald Franklin, and a great grandson, Justin Brown.
Mrs. Davidson was a homemaker and an avid quilter. She was a member of the Full Gospel Community Church, in Sidney.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Full Gospel Community Church, in Sidney, with Rev. Charles Jarrett officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco, Ohio.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney.
