Ocie Dale Matheny Collins, 91 of Parkersburg died February 4, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Gracie Wigal. She was born in Lewis County, WV daughter of the late John Elliott and Estella White Matheny. She was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by four daughters Beulah Mae Lemon of Davisville, Gracie Virginia Wigal, and Violet Leota Wiseman of Parkersburg, Evelyn Dorcas McCullough of Thornville, OH and one son Davie Lee Collins of Rushville, OH., 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband Charles Walter Collins, 1983, and infant twins Charles and Charlotte, and sons Walter Dale Collins and Harry Henry Collins.
Funeral services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home south Parkersburg with Reverend Wayne Terry officiating. Burial is at Red Hill U.M. Church Cemetery.
