Pine Bluff-Calvin Mobley Arnold Jr., 62, of Pine Bluff died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, in Pine Bluff. He was born March 13, 1941, in Little Rock. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1960 and the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1964 with a bachelor of science in indusrial arts education. He worked in the building construction industry in sales and as a contractor in West Memphis and Fort Smith. He taught school in West Memphis, Helena, and Fort Smith, was employed at Southeast AR Technical Community College and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity and the Jaycees. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hale-South Funeral Home in Pine Bluff with burial at Graceland Cemetery. He is survived by his fiancee, Judie Ledbetter of Fort Smith; two sons, Steve Arnold of Denver and Chris Arnold of Van Buren; three grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Cecilia Hopkins of Van Buren. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
