CLEM BIENZ

VAN WERT - Clem R. Bienz, 66, of Rt. 5, Ohio City, died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday at the Van Wert County Hospital after an illness of six months.

He was born Mary 14, 1892 in Black Creek Township in Mercer County.

Mr. Bienz lived in the Willshire, Rockford and Wren area until he moved to the Van Wert area 34 years ago.

His parents were J. W. Bienz and Lucy (Billman) Bienz. He was married June 27, 1917 to May Tickle, who survives.

Other survivors include his father, J. W. Bienz, 95, in Dayton; a brother, Earl in the Panama Canal Zone; and six sisters, Mrs. Ova Wilson of Rt. 1, Willshire; Mrs. Neva Hiller and Mrs. Roxie Kronlund, both of Dayton; Mrs. Lelia Hill of Chicago; Mrs. Juanita Ward of Columbia City, Ind.; and Mrs. Irene Daniels of Ft. Wayne.

He was a retired farmer and also had been employed by the Borden Food Company and the Van Wert Manufacturing Co.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Cowan and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Robert L. McCachran officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery at Van Wert.

Friends may call at the Cowan and Son Funeral Home.
