George F. Priest

Services for George F. Priest, 70, of Johnstown, will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Crouse-Kauber Funeral Home, Johnstown, with the Rev. Wayne Zavotka officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Priest died Wednesday in Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born Sept. 9, 1919.

He was a retired food service manager for the State of Ohio; a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army; and a member of the Johnstown Baptist Church. He also was a member and past master of Masonic Lodge 86, a member of American Legion Post 254, past president of the Johnstown Lions Club, and a member of the Johnstown Businessmen's Association.

Surviving are his wife, Mary (Crowl) Priest; two daughters: Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Evans and Miss Jill Priest, both of Johnstown; one son, George Priest of Johnstown; six sister: Irma Budd and Mrs. Janice Halliday, both of Columbus, Mrs. Betty Dresback of Kingston, Ohio, Janice Palmer of Rochester, N.Y. and Dorothy Skeens and Mrs. Ethel Dixon both of Sunbury, Ohio; three brothers: Flloyd Priest of Fort Myers, Fla., Daroled Priest of Granbury, Texas, and Harold Priest of Westerville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Three grand-daughters are deceased.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today in the funeral home.
