Deceased was a farmer and for many years was supervisor of the township. He lived retired for some time. He was born in Spring and never resided anywhere else. He was a son of the late Henry and Catharine (nee Kline) Grant and was a member of the Host Lutheran Church. His widow, Ellen, is an invalid at Harrisburg. There are no children. The funeral will take place on Saturday at 1:30 p.m standard time. Services will be held at the Host church and interment made in the cemetery adjoining. Undertaker Kindt, of Mohnton, will have charge.
