Archie A Jackson, was the firstborn son of Antone and Alexandria (Czaikowskaja) Jackson. He was born in Perm, Russia. He was given the birthname, Arkady Anton Jakucenja. His brother Vladimir, later called William, "Bill" also immigrated with them, and their Aunt Mary.
His family included a sister, Helen Kahler, and a brother Anthony Jr. who died at age 4 from an appendicitis attack.

Archie was a professional boxer and wrestler. He was the father to six daughters. Four with his first wife, Isabel Coburn. Valerie, Sharon, Glory and CarolSue. He married his second wife, Garietta Gross, in L.A. California. Of this union, he had more daughters, Garrietta, and Marilyn.
Archie and Bill were paperboys selling the Sioux City, Journal. Later, they followed in their Fathers footsteps, working in the packing plant in the Sioux City Stockyards. Archie became a Naturalized Citizen on 14 Jan 1944.

Archie and Bill were partners in "The Tophat Tavern" the Aero Club, in Remsen, Iowa, and various other establishments in Sioux City, Iowa.

Archie founded the restaurant Archies Waeside Inn, in LeMars, Iowa in 1949. He was famous for his Roasted Pig Dinners, and Fine Steaks....When he passed away, his eldest Daughter, Valerie, took over and continued the fine tradition. Now it is owned by Bobby, her Son..
