Leah Bickmore Lonsway passed away on September 4, 2003 at the age of 87. She was born August 6, 1916, in Paradise, Utah one of 11 children born to Ellery McArthur Bickmore and Leah Orgill.
She was raised in Paradise but later moved to Southern California where she resided for about 40 years. She married Earcel Murdock Ostler in 1937 and was later divorced. In 1950 she married Clayton W. Lonsway.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, she served in the Primary organization and later in the Relief Society.
She is survived by her children; Shirley Ostler, Bowling Green, KY, Melvin Ostler, Honeyville, Utah, C. Donald Ostler, Orem, Utah, Larry J. Ostler, Salem, Utah, David Lonsway, Laguna Niguel, CA, James Lonsway, Anahiem, CA, Ted Lonsway, Rancho Chicquito, CA and Richard Lonsway, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 30 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. One sister and one brother, Ilene Laney, Orem, Utah and William O. Bickmore, Providence, Utah.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2003 at 12 noon at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 E. Center, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Paradise Cemetery.
