Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Shores, Rulo, who died suddenly Wednesday of a heart attack, will be held Saturday. Arrangements are in charge of Chaney-Hodgens funeral home. The body of Mrs. Shores is at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shores was born Apr. 20, 1880, at Oketo, KS, where she also was married to William Shores. The couple lived at Oketo for a short time and then settled at Holmesville, NE. They came to Falls City in 1938 and Mrs. Shores lived here until two years ago when she moved to Rulo. Mr. Shores died Dec. 25, 1944.
Mrs. Shores is survived by seven sons, Wm. Shores, Salem, OR, Fred Shores, Hot Springs, SD, Warren Shores, Denver, CO, Forrest and Ray Shores, both of Wymore, Chester Shores, Crete, and Arthur Shores, Rulo; two daughters, Mrs. Louie De Rock, Wymore and Mrs. Louie Moser, Omaha; a sister, Mrs. Jane Barnes, Oketo, KS, and two brothers, Victor Dunger, Kaw City, OK and Abraham Dunger, Brunswick, O. There are 27 grandchildren and five great-granchildren.
