May 27, 1903;
The death from heart
trouble of Elijah Chenault occurred on
last Sunday morning at the home of
his mother near town. Deceased who
was a son of the late Anderson Chenault
had been in ill health all his life
and was just entering his twenty first
year at the time of his death. His
funeral took place Monday afternoon
in the presence of a large gathering
friends and relatives after which his
remains were interred in the Richmond
Cemetery. The sympathy of all is extended
to the family in their affliction
