Naomi(Neoma) relocated from Ohio Vernon Co. WI with her parents in 1854. She married Jacob Charles "J.C." Markle in Vernon Co. WI December 26,1869. In several of the census records, plus her father's biography from Vernon Co. History 1884, states her name was Neoma.

MRS. C. J. MARKLE
Word has been received here by friends of the death of Mrs. C. J. Markle on March 10, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruel, in Gunnison, Colorado, after a lingering illness of two years. Mr. and Mrs. Markle for many years were residents of Chaseburg, where Mr. Markle conduced a wagon and blacksmith shop. He is a brother of Emanuel and John Markle, of Mormon Coulee.
