"She was the daughter of Lyman Webb Bascom (of Johnston, Trumbull County, Ohio) and Mary L. Beach (of Vernon, Trumbull County, Ohio). Lyman Webb Bascom was the son of Sally Webb (m. 1 Bushnell) and James Bascom (1773, MA-1856, OH). James Bascom was buried in the Pioneer Cemetery in Vernon, where a number of his 10 children from his 1st marriage were buried. Sally Webb Bascom (1790, CT-1878, OH) was buried in Johnston Township Cemetery (AKA Southside Cemetery), between her 1st husband, Lewis Bushnell, Sr. (1787, CT-1818, OH) and her son Linus Bushnell, who died at age 19 on 29 Aug 1809, during a typhoid epidemic that took 30 people, mostly young people, including 7 Bushnells."
