DODD CITY - Birtha M. Hudgins, 90, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Denison.
Birtha was one of seven children born to Laura and Warren Patterson. She was born April 23, 1919, in Fort Worth.
She worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement.
Birtha was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Robert Hudgins; daughter, Carolyn Abraham; and all her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Hataway of Dodd City; son, James David Hudgins and wife, Maggie, of Grapevine; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements are by Greenwood Funeral Home, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth.
