Ben F. Ragland passed away at his home in Chillicothe on Sunday, following an eleven day illness of paralysis. He was born in Jackson County, Ohio, 67 years ago, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Ragland and was a farmer by occupation. He was a member of the Baptist Church. His wife, Mrs. Nary Ragland, one brother, John W. Ragland, of Jackson County; one sister, Jessie Taner, and two adopted children, J. H. Artis and Rosetta Cooper, survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Limerick Church, Rev. J. D. Walker officiating. Interment in Ragland Cemetery.
