A funeral service will be held at the Greenwood cemetery chapel for Mrs. Clara Branting ham O'Dell, 82, last surviving child of Robert M. Brantingham, pioneer Rockford manufacturer.
Mrs. O'Dell died yesterday in her Chicago apartment from heart disease, complicated by a broken shoulder suffered here last winter.
Mrs. O'Dell was born in New York and came to Rockford when a child. She had lived at the Nelsen hotel in Rockford for a number of years, but had been spending the summer in Chicago.
Surviving are two nieces in Rockford, Mrs. Reginald Smith and Mrs. Edith Graham; a grand nephew, Alan Brantingham, Chicago; and two grand nieces, Mrs. Noble Macfarlane, Winnetka, and Mrs. Robert Boehland, Rockford.
