Leoner Bennett, 89, Collumbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 6:55pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral service will be Friday, June 5, 2009, at 10:00amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, with burial in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pmCT, on Thursday, June 5, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late William Dee and Lainie Blaydes.
Survivors include the following:
Four sons: Chester Bennett and wife Betty, Glasgow, KY; Coy Bennett and wife Carol, Wayne Bennett, and Raymond Bennett, all of Columbia, KY
Four daughters: earline George and special friend Glen Mays, Lebanon, TN; Louise Rainwater and Rosie Bennett, Columbia; Mayrine Thomas and special friend Alvin Gill, Nicholasville, KY
Twenty-four grandchildren
Thirty-two great grandchildren
Twelve great great grandchildren
Two special nephews: Delno and Donald Salmon
She was preceded in death by two sons, Linus and Ray Bennett, five sisters, two brothers, and two grandsons.
