DIED - DANIEL BOWEN died of consumption, at his residence, on last Thursday evening, 14th inst.

NOTE:
Daniel Bowen, b.Ohio, son of Constant (1781-1843) and Sarah Bowen (d. August 17, 1849, at age 50), was m. October 17, 1849 to Nancy Melvin. (Fulton Co Ind M.R.).

Daniel Bowen and Nancy, his wife, were householders of Henry Twp, Fulton Co Ind (Census, 1850, 1860, 1870), and Nancy, his widow, was the householder (Census, 1880).

Daniel & Nancy (Melvin) Bowen had children:

Martha Jane, 11 months, and the only child in their family in 1850. (Census, Henry Twp)

Constant, 1850-1928; John Pierce, 1853-1935

Agnes (Sarah?), 1855

Mark, 1857, removed to a homestead near Mattoon, Wisconsin (m. Twice and had two sets of children: (1) May (Mrs. Elmer Keesey), Agnes (Mrs. Wm. Sweeney), Kitty (Mrs. Ben Powell), and (2) Beulah, Enid, Charles, Orlando); Charles, 1859-1860; Milo, 1861-1952; Amanda E., 1864-1864; Albert Ross, 1866-1941; Daniel Seymore, 1868-1910.
