From Jeremiah Willey's autobiography: On the 15th of March 1840, my first daughter, Samantha Ellen, was born, but she only lived sixteen months. She died the 9th of July 1841 near Warsaw and was buried on the dead-man's farm in the Common Burying Ground. 2 1/2 miles north of Warsaw, Illinois (at Green Plains Cemetery).
