Ollie Mae Parker was born to Ollie Joe and Ola Mae Vestal in Palmer,Ellis County,Texas.She attended schools in Palmer,and grew up there.
She met and married Lee Young Richardson in 1939. They had the following children: William Henry called Sonny ,Nancy Jane, Walter,Dennis Wayne,Bobby Glenn,James Ray and Rowland Ernest. She suffered the loss of twin sons and they were not named and are buried by their father in Myrtle cemetery.
She was a wonderful wife to her husband, loving mother to her children , devoted grandmother to her 16 grandchildren and caretaker of her blind aunt Lizzie Parker,these were just a small quanity of the things she was to her family and many friends.
Refered to as Nanny to all the family alike, she was the rock of the family, the mother of all and our lives were greatly blessed to have been included in hers.
