Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel with Father Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Catholic Cemetery, Clyde, Texas under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St.
Mrs. Baack was born September 25, 1908 to Ignatius and Dora (Reller) Konczak in Osakis, Minnesota. She was raised in Clyde, Texas. She married Theo Baack, January 29, 1932 in Abilene; they were married 64 years before his demise. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She helped her husband care for Kirby Lake for 25 years. She dressed game and cleaned fish that Theo shot or caught.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, T. R. Baack, Jr; one son-in-law, August Hardt and one daughter-in-law, Lanell Baack.
She is survived by one son, Richard Baack of Abilene; one daughter, Mary Alice Hardt of College Station, Texas; and one daughter-in-law, Patty Jean Baack. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great -grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Clyde Catholic Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
