Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Alexander, 59, will be held at 4 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 14, at Forest Lawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. The family will receive friends from noon until 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Alexander went home to Jesus on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008.
She was born Aug. 8, 1949, in Nashville to Carl Eugene and Virginia Nell Stout Carter.
Mrs. Alexander was a hair dresser, artist, wife and mother and led the nursery team at Broadmoor Family Worship Center. She loved all the little children and they loved her. She had a smile for everyone.
In addition to her parents, her family includes her husband, Michael Howard Alexander; a daughter Emily
Celeste Alexander; a son, Michael H. Alexander II; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Jan Carter; a
sister and brother-in-law, Nelda and Tommy Tully; two nephews, Brian Carter and Dewey Tully; two nieces, Missy Sego and Jennifer Tunnel, three greatnephews, Dalto Sego and Trey and Thomas Tunnel; and a greatniece, Elissa Sego.
Pastors Lonnie Cable, Rucker Chunn and Harvey Hudson will officiate at the services.
