Bessie Revelle 1906-1966

Robert Junior (aka Pete when he was young) Casey was born in Chicago, Illinois. He spent his younger years in Chicago living/working near Wacker Drive and the river with his parents and older sister Margaret. Sometime in the 30's his mother Bessie left the family. As a teenager he up an moved himself to Montana and the family followed where his father Alfred remarried in 1941 and had two children a boy and a girl. Robert never got along with his mother-in-law and soon left the family all together. He stayed in Montana and spent some time working in the coal mines, he joined the Marines - who sent him back to work in the coal mines until he was old enough - and there is an early marriage to Eva Jeffrey when he was only 18. Around 1946/1947 he married a second time and there were three children from that marriage , Robert Jay Casey, Patrick Neil Casey and a daughter (still living). The story is lost in time but needless to say their divorce was finalized in 1959. His son's Robert Jay and Patrick Neil both died suddenly at the ages of 15 and 13 respectively. In the early 60's he met my mother (living) and they had one child. Over the years he was a coal miner, Marine, cook, refrigeration mechanic, gas station manager and entrepreneur. He loved fishing, tinkering with mechanical things, travel, old movies (as long as they didn't have singing in them) and cooking. He was a loyal friend who would always do what he could to help others. He was preceded in death by both parents and his two sons. He died in 1993 after an extended illness at the VA hospital in Loma Linda, CA.
