Michael was born in Bedford Co, Pa. September 18, 1835. He married Sarah Etter August 18, 1859. She was born Oct. 25, 1837., and was the daughter of John and Margaret Etter. She died April 29, 1880.His second marriage was with Lizzie Buck Weigle,November 26, 1891.
Michael moved from Bedford Co., Pa. in 1865 to near Naperville ,Illinois, where he bought a farm and lived there a number of years, but the last fifteen years were at Franklin Grove, Illinois. He died August 18, 1912 , due to heart failure.He had served as an efficient official in the deacon,s office for almost fifty years.
There were twelve children born to his first marriage.
