Samuel G. was born in 1804. He married four times, 1st, Lydia Prescott, who bore him one son, Samuel G. He married 2nd, Dorothy S. Prescott, who bore him two sons and two daughters, viz: Emeline L. (Mrs. Randall J. Pillsbury); Ruth A. who died at the age of fifteen years. He married 3rd Mary L. Sleeper, widow of Cyrus Sleeper, who died in 1878, and he married 4th, Sally, widow of Noble Prime, of Manchester. A daughter, Lydia was born in Bridgewater, May 27, 1832 as the Bridgewater Town Records tell us. She was Samuel's 2nd child.
