Barbara E. Scott of Perryville, 91-year old resident of the Perry County Nursing Home, died on Wdnesday, Dec.3 at the home. Mrs. Scott and her husband John Scott, built and ran the Scottie's Place in Perryville for many years. She was born on Dec. 26, 1883, in Perryville, a daughter of Peter and Margarita (Boxdorfer) Sandler. Her husband died on Sep. 17, 1949. The body was in state at Young & Sons Chapel until 9:45 Friday morning, Dec. 5, when it was taken to Immanuel Lutheran Church for services at 10 by the Rev. W. F. Neumann. Interment was in the church cemetery.
